Training Topic: Creating Fun and Engaging Hands-On STEM Experiences
Science is all around us. This training will explore and provide front line and seasoned afterschool professionals with resources and best practices for creating fun and interactive hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities to inspire youth. During this interactive workshop, the providers will be engaged in STEM activities that will spark the interest of your youth and create a great teaching and learning atmosphere. Come prepared to have fun during this exiting and educational session!
The session will be facilitated by Steven Willis, STEM Program Manager–Chicago Youth Centers.

You must pre-register for this training. Registrations will be accepted until the capacity for training has been reached. Please the form below. IAN training policy states that late arrivals after the 15 minutes grace period will not receive a training certificate and may be asked to leave if seating is not available. We are sorry, but we are not able to refund your registration fee; however, if you discover you are unable to attend the workshop you may transfer your registration to another participant.
