Over the course of the pandemic, communities have been hit with hardship from sickness, to political strife, and mass shootings. With the intersections of trauma still ongoing, how do we rebuild our sense of safety and turn towards each other? What are proactive steps we can take to heal and have hard conversations with children and families? Learn tangible ways we can foster connections with families and communities to move towards a sense of healing. Gain historical perspective on how communities have survived for generations through shared practices and radical joy. Finally, partake in an interactive practice space to work with other after school providers on best practices.
