The Illinois After-School Alliance
is a statewide coalition of advocates, after-school and social service program
providers, educators, parents and other groups and individuals interested
in out-of-school time issues.
The Alliance actively promotes
policies and practices to improve the quality and availability of out-of-school
time programming in Illinois.
Goals
Advocacy: Advocate for greater
funding and program improvements that support expanding after-school programs
across the state and that help programs offer high-quality services.
Public Awareness: Build public
support for efforts to make after-school programs available to all interested
children and families in the state.
Networking: Promote information
sharing among after-school programs.
Join
Promote the value of out-of-school-time
in enriching the lives of children and youth across the state. Add your
