Two part Virtual and Free Training Series
Wednesdays, January 21 and 28 10am-12pm
This two-part virtual training will re-energize your team with practical tips, concrete ideas, and hands-on exercises for keeping youth engaged. We’ll explore simple strategies you can implement immediately, with assignments to practice in between sessions. You’ll also learn the importance of setting clear expectations among staff and youth. By the end of this series, you’ll learn additional skills to enhance competence and confidence in your staff.
Learning Objectives:
- Build staff competence and confidence by providing them with concrete activities and strategies they can immediately implement to engage youth.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and communication by teaching staff how to set clear expectations and align their efforts with peers and supervisors.
- Empower staff to make informed decisions by helping them understand the choices they have in leading activities, allowing them to adapt their approach based on the unique needs of different youth groups.
