We respectfully ask you to consider making a meaningful donation to Illinois Afterschool Network (IAN). Every donation is critical in our mission to enhance quality educational professional development for staff in the expanded learning spaces for youth in your community. Staff in the out of school time (OST) setting are often overlooked and under-resourced.
As stated by National AfterSchool Association (NAA) on their website: “Why is Job Quality Critical to Program Quality? A thriving Out-of-School Time workforce prioritizes job quality, which leads to workforce stability and enables OST professionals to deliver high-quality programs that lead to positive youth outcomes.”
As a community, we can increase the access to resources and quality educational professional development for the staff caring for our youth outside of the school classroom. At IAN, we prioritize empowering the current workforce and improving the quality of life for the next generation of leaders. This can range from sponsoring professional development trainings for an individual or supporting a regional area of professionals through a large-scale training in Illinois on a multitude of topics in your community.
